Lub dub hiss
Ok, after changing the plugs etc. it still has a miss, and rough idle.
When I was under the hood listening, I noticed that sometimes when it misses there was a hiss sound. I opened it up at the air cleaner, and I am hearing like a heartbeat when it misses, lub dub, then a hiss.
Is this a valve? bus since it is occasional, is it a lifter? I assume this has hydraulic lifters. And if it is a lifter, can I clean it with a little seafoam in the oil?
Could this be a cam/crank sensor starting to fail?
pulling the connections to the coils, and the injectors all provide a constant miss. this is driving me nuts,
