I'm almost finished swapping my 1992 7.3 into my 97 f350. But when my buddy and I took her out of the old truck he went crazy and took all the wiring off the engine before I could catch him. I have most of it figured out like glow plugs alternator and injector pump but I'm totally lost on everything else. Took it for a test drive and my speedo, oil pressure, coolent, fuel gauge don't work. Completely lost and would really appreciate some help
Thanks tons. I got another question for ya if you don't mind. I've connected everything up the right way and my instrument cluster is acting screwy. For example, my temp, oil pressure, and fuel gauge arn't working. And I got my speedo and Odometer working and now my RPM gauge suddenly stopped working. All the grounds that I can find I've grinded down and reground, but all this stuff was working on my old truck before I took it out.
Yea, every bit of wiring from headlights to the tail lights is all from the 92. Is there any way I could check the senders and the gauges? Like I said they were all working. Ugh, wiring is so confusing.....
