I know Dennis Carpenter has good stuff, but just wondering where others have gotten all their weatherstripping from and how it worked. Windshield, back window, doors, etc.
I used DCs stuff on my 77, but just wanted to keep cost down on my 75 Supercab project. Thanks.
for the door seals buck i use the newer truck stuff. 1987 and up seems to work the best. i like that it has the metal egde on it to keep it in place.
Could you elaborate on this? Possibly supply a pic or a link? I tore my door seals while installing new floor pans, not that I didn't need to replace them anyways. IF this worked out better and is cheaper, then let everyone know about it. We all like to save a buck.
Just ordered my from Classic Auto Parts.com
go to the ITEMS ON SALE tab then click on the link (middle of page) that says: 1948-79 Ford Pickup
This will load a PDF file (about 12 pages). Scroll though the listings to pp11.
Look for DOOR SEAL Kits "1973-79 F100/350 - D3TZ-20530-10A - $49.00"
I also bought the Anti-rattle kits for the Windows (both doors). Good prices I thought for OEM.
Sale is good until the 31st of Jan. So make up your mind soon.
I know that others here do not like LMC, but that is where I got my front, rear and side seals. Installed easily and no leaks so far.
I have heard that too.
