I am giving myself until Monday to choose a lift. Who has which one and why did you choose it over another brand? I am only looking to run 33's unless someone can convince me that a 5"-6" lift is better to throw 35's under it. I am open to suggestions but only want to spend between $2000-$2200 at the local shop in here Louisiana (SS Truck Performance). I'm listening...ready GO
I have 4" pro comp and she rides like a dream. Also not too big and fits 35x12.5x18's no prob. Just shaved the lower front plastic spoiler on each side maybe a 1/4 inch. Full turn no rub! Highly recommend
I was under the impression that you needed 4.5" backspacing on one's rims. Looks like the XD MOnsters only come in 5"? Love the look. Still no rubbing? What size are the tires?

If you're truck is a stock 4x4 you should be able to run 33s with no rubbing without any lift.
I looked at a lot of lifts trying to figure out an inexpensive way to fit 37s. I decided the best way (for me) was to just spend the money on bushwacker fender flares and spacers instead of a lift. (i prefer the low look with big tires anyway) and the idea of a lifted truck on our icy winter roads doesn't appeal to me. using the flares and spacers it'll be approx 8" wider at the outside of the tires and 10" wider at the flares.
$700 in flares and spacers and we'll see the outcome in a few weeks, but i should be able to fit 37s. if not, it should only take springs out of a f250/350 to get me there.
Both the BDS and Pro-Comp use blocks on the 4" lift so IMHO it's a wash. IMHO the components are similar enough I don't know if it's worth paying ~$200 more.

You can get rear springs with the BDS kit though, retail is about a $500.00 add, your dealer can get them in the $300.00 range.
