My niece has a issue with front end ball joints/tie rods and my go to guy was going to give me a quote over the phone,but he needs to know if it's torsion bar or coil springs. I can't look at it today and I used vin # for clarification but it said bad #. Did they offer both in 2004?

It may be time to look for a new parts man. Why would you build a truck and design two different ball joints for it ? Now some upper ball joints are replacable in the arm, and soome need a new a-frame to go with it. I have heard the new design ball joints can be pressed into the original a-frames... but ask when you buy.
