hello everyone , new member from england, just joined today,
can anyone tell me whether you can change the bottom ball joints on a 97 explorer front suspension or do you have to change the complete arm? regards
k. dunster
I was afraid I'd have to replace the entire assembly, but not only were the b.j.'s avaialbe, they were also very nexpensive. Apparently, according to my dealer, they are not known fro their longevity, therefore, Ford sells them cheap. In fact they were less than half the price of aftermarket.
thanks for the info, i have now replaced both bbj's and was pleasntly suprised how easy they were to change, once again thanks for your help. regards
