Help with C6 2nd slip/studder please.
I just purchased the truck last weekend. It is a 1988 F250 with a 460/C6. It has a dually conversion. It has a slip going into 2nd gear. I changed the modulator and turned it in 2 and a half turns and it is better but still there. If I shift it manually it is perfect, no slip. Before I installed the new modulator I disconnected the vac hose plugged it and the tranny shifted perfectly. The truck has been driven very little over the last few years. I hope it is something that will work itself out. Is there anything else I can look at?
