Nu-be Trans rebuild problem

Thought I would ask a question see what ya'all have to say;

Truck; E99 F350 450k + miles, SS Inj, DP Tunes,
4r100 built with Borg Warner Frictions, some upgrades by JW inc. Accumulator, It does have 18,000 miles on it.

Problem; 1st gear feels like second taking off. No shift till around 25mph. I do have 4 solid shifts. Manual shifting makes no noticable results from 2nd to 1st. Downshifts in other gears have been a little lagging. I do know that the tuning by Jody could have an effect.
Also after 400 miles of hwy driving the trans did not kick down when stopping and treid to kill the motor.

Used parts used in build, Solenoid pack ( Checked good accourding to Ohm meter and charts) Front Pump, torq Converterer 3 disc billit (replaced 18,000 miles ago)

Initial rebuild due to center support bolts comming loose (slipping OD) and trans was partial rebuilt before.

My transmission never comes out of 1st, until a minimum of 45 mph.

I am no expert, but since others haven't chimed in yet. I just realized your post said the motor tried to die at a stop, shouldn't matter what gear but that would indicate a torque converter still locked up. Does your over drive light blink? Tunes shouldn't be a problem if it has been okay so far, but leave on stock setting until you get sorted out. Maybe send an oil sample to Blackstone Labs, get analyzed? I would think the motor is revving pretty high at 25mph if still in first.

Tune's, cant go stock as I am running single shot injectors. ( bad mistake ) Jody has the shift points a bit higher to keep the smoke down when applying the throttle.
Ill have to hook up the scanner and see what the TC is doing tomorrow evening. no problems the past 2 days
