Burning Rubber Smell
Hey guys. I drove around town yesterday and when I got out of the truck to go into the grocery store I could smell burning rubber from the front of the truck. Driver side and passenger side. Belts maybe.

That's seriously odd, I would check your serp belt and make sure it's not rubbing something.

Lol.. Yeah it is odd. I'm pulling er in the shop in the morning and have look.

Well I found passenger side exhaust manifold let go. Brought it to Ford for warranty. Still has the burning smell though.

Ford is replacing the driver side exhaust manifold today, Thank God it's all warranty.

Check the motor mount, I broke exhaust on my old Cherokee and the hot gasses caught the rubber on fire.
