Just printed off my CCW permit app so it can ride in the truck with me... all I have to do is sign it, attach the check, and mail it in. Personal presence/interview not required.
Oh, I wish.. I have procrastinated for years. I have had the pistol course three times never filling out the paperwork from just being to busy.. Signing up for a course again in early february.. Tough here to get a license and specifically my county and I have a friend now at work that teaches the class and i asked him to help me out with my procrastination problem.. Nice tool.. It will take me a year to get one, courts here are slow and backed up, But i want to get this going. Funny i was just talking about it today and now this thread has me fired up.
Having trouble getting .223 rounds. Glad I stocked up. The local rifle store gets their orders in every Friday morning. Three weeks ago 50,000 rounds gone in two hours. Two weeks ago 15,000 rounds gone in half hour. Last week line at the door an hour before they opened...only had 10,000 rounds to sell. Gone the minute the door opened.
At the gun show here in Birmingham two weeks ago, one dealer sold their 5,000 rounds of .223 in the first 15 minutes they were open.
I can barely look at/for anything firearm related during my lunch hour because our company blocks all but the forum sites... there are a few sporting goods stores I can look at, but not too many any more.
I bought a new tool in December but just got it all back together late last week. Had low round count but finish was rough. Stripped it down the day I got it, rounded off all the edges and had a buddy refinish it with his thermal cure ceramic. Frame and slide in his color blend which is like flat dark earth with more black and green in it. Other parts in black. Unlike your standard capacity tool, this one is low capacity at 6 +1 in .45 acp.
I have a Savage Axis 30.06 and just got a mossberg plinkster .22. I was looking at the XD9 yesterday at the local shop here I think that is going to be my next tool.
I think the $300 lifetime membership usually requires a current lifetime member as a sponsor. I'll sponsor folks too if no one above is available. Shoot me a pm if needed.

They are processing the $300 life memberships over the phone without a sponsor, my boss, dad and myself all did it today. Sponsor is required to upgrade online though.
The trigger is plastic and stock for the model.
I have driven around with it there for a day or two to try it out. It hasn't moved but is clearly not an optimal location. I'll look into the remora as a more long-term option, thanks.
What you only have 1!!!!!!!!!!!
