I'd also look around on Ebay, Amazon, and CL...it is the type of tester someone may part with when they retire. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a cooperative that collectively bought these testers and shared them?

there may be, just you and I haven't been invited yet lol. This is the first i've heard of it, and now that I see it, it can't be that bad. When I replaced my cups, all of mine were checked to make sure they were spitting properly, and new rubber all the way around. I don't think I have any issues, but it would have been nice to know for sure when they were out...

Specialtools has two complete IPR valve test benches for sale. I have seen them, and they appear to have never been used. They would be perfect for someone with a diesel shop. Not sure it would make sense to buy them as an individual...

looks simple enough...
the lathe and mill i have access to is the lil 400$ jobber from hf... still need inserts/chucks... and endmills for the mill.. also one of the small hf jobbers.
priorities have delayed completing the mini-machine shop. ill see what i can come up with. looks like about 6-8 full hours machine time for the injector test setup. (manual is sooo slow...)
