Block Differences
If you take a mid 90's 7.3 and strip it down to the block and heads is it the same as one from a 99 or later block? I'm wondering because I picked up a 7.3 with 170k on it for $500 (I couldn't pass it up) and it came with a fresh tranny (less than 3k on it) I know the tranny's are different so I'm gonna sell that one to make some of my money back. I'm just not sure about the block. My guess is that they are the same with the add-on parts and the electronics being different but I just figured I would ask the experts.
