I finally got around to doing the GPR light for the real WTS light. Did not get the light in place yet as I am not sure where/what I want to do. For now it is inside the drivers side air vent....from the inside.
I found an easy bulb to use. The indicator light on most cell phone charger cords are a straight 12v low light bulb. The bright green is real visible and we sure have enough old charger cords.
The difference in the time of the lights is amazing. The new one stays on for a minute or more and it sure seems like a lifetime waiting for it to go off.
You do know you don't have to wait for the glow plugs to cycle off before you start, right? They're designed to stay on a bit after the truck has started to aid in combustion and limit smoke on the cold engine.
