Fleet Charge Coolant

Been looking around for a coolant to put in my truck as I will be doing the bulletproof this week. Right now I have the Ford Gold. I picked up four gallons of "Fleet Charge" heavy duty coolant at Napa while I was getting the coolant filter replacement.

Any one used it?

There are some that use the Final-Charge ELC coolant. Not sure I've heard of too many here that use Fleet Charge.

Quite a few of us here use Rotella ELC

If it has SCA's it's a no-no.

I've been on CAT ELC1 for a while, also with a coolant filter as well, so far so good. Originaly had Ford Premium Gold, flushed a bunch of times with distilled water then added ELC1, you don't want to mix these two guys.
You can get scientific about this, about flushing with Fleetguard Flush, Acid, etc. I would keep it simple flush with distilled water at least three times then add your ELC1.
good luck

Big truck and tractor dealers and parts suppliers. I have access to a local oil distributor (Team Petroleum in Fort Collins, CO) where I purchased my Rotella ELC.

Truck Stops too... might be a few bucks more at a truck stop versus a dealer though. I would figure about $15 or less per gallon for Rotella at a dealer.

Caterpillar has EC-1 and is also about $12-15 a gallon.

I believe the FINAL-Charge at O'reillys is like $25 a gallon.

Fleet Charge makes Final Charge. Final Charge is what you want. O'Reilly's stocks Final Charge for around 22 dollars a gallon un-diluted. I've found the Rotella ELC at truck stops but it's always diluted.

I purchased my Final Charge at a Loves truck stop in NW Atlanta. My local O'Reilly's didn't have it in stock.

Delo ELC is another option you can get at commercial truck centers. Working nicely in my 6.0L and my 2004 LS6 (that's a car engine).
