F150 2005 Lariat 5.4L 242 000 km (150 370 mi)
on very hard acceleration i got a P0307 misfire.
what i did :
---new cop
---new plugs
---clean MAF
---new fuel filter
---swap the new cop with another new that was on #5 and still getting p0307
also have a little stumble when idling at a stop but no CEL
also have a long to start issue when staying for a while (fuel pump and module have supposly been changed by the previous owner)
Ck #7 injector . I think that this is one of the years they had problems . They can leak down after shut off and cause the hard start . They can also cause missfires . Switch injectors and see if miss follows the injector .
im getting this or similar problem too.
previously it was idling rough/had misfire.
changed plugs, one had a completely burned off electrode, might have been #7 cylinder, which one is that?
now it idles nicely but still has a bogdown problem or runs rough if i try to drive away w/o a good warmup here in cold canadian winters.
was gonna try a new injector in the same cylinder i found the bad plug in. i think it was the front right cylinder whichever number that was?
how does one change a injector on these 5.4l 2006 year?
change fuel pump for long start issue and ok for that and t=did the exhaust manifold on left side and saw that the ex valve was all white on #7 sa if the cyl run lean! any suggestion?
