Oily smoke

Hey all. Need some direction here. We just bought a 1995 F250 with about 152k on it. Been doing alright until the other day. Son was driving and noticed obviously oily smoke coming from the driver side exhaust. Hot or cold it doesn't seem to make any difference in regard. Any suggestions as to cause and cure?
Thanks!

Valve cover gasket leaking. Wash that area down and then check to see if it is leaking. That's what id check first.
