Check the grounds for the rear lamps by removing both taillights. You will see a eyelit connection screwed to the bed. Make sure they are clean and tight.
You may also have to check the lamp sockets.
The front grounds are located on the inner fenders, just above the side marker lamp lens assymbly.
The Brake and turn signal lamps share their ground with the parking lamps.
With a bad or corroded ground, What is happening is your brake and turn signal lamps are finding ground through the parking lamp circut. When you turn on the headlamps, that eliminates the ground and the brake and turn signal lamps no longer function.
