Door reassembly help needed

Well the doors for my '49 M-47 are all wet sanded and buffed so now it's time to put all those parts back in before I rehang the doors. Does anyone have any words of advice as to what order to install all the pieces and parts ?
I've still got some things to do in the cab before I get to the doors so thought I'd ask this before I start on the doors.
I'm off to the garage and basement to search for parts but will check back later tonight. Very grateful for any help with this question.

Back in from the garage after findng most of what I was looking for. Got some work to do on the vent windows before they get installed. Again, any help with an order of reassembly or words of experience are welcome.

The best I can offer is to reassemble in the reverse order of removal , more or less like the book says . If you remember when you took out the window parts it was probably a bit of a struggle well its worse going back together. Be patient take your time .

Thanks for the reply Allan. I was hoping someone had just done his job and could have a step by step for me. Guess I'll use the put in, take back out method. At least the second door will be quicker.

I'd put in the vent window first. Then the glass run channel. After that, the division bar. Then the latch and glass regulator. After that the glass itself.

First thing is the beltline window felts, IMO. First of all, they are aggravating to get in if you're using the repros, and the more room the better. Then the vent window and division bar. Then the window channel felts, then the regulator and the window.

Thanks Ross and Ilya for the response. My thought was to install the clips for the window fuzzies, vent window, divider bar, window fuzzies, window and door actuators.
Yes Ross I'm using the repro stuff and the clips do look like they will be a treat. Got a lot of prep work to do on the vent windows. I had forgotten that the glass needs to be replaced in them and they need to be painted so another little treat in store for me I'm sure.
Thanks again, Greg

It has been some time since mine came apart, and I am a ways from the re-install.
The service manual seems pretty good, at least thats what I figured on using.

(will keep an eye here for hints)

I won't be putting mine in until next summer, but on earlier posts I've read that it may be easier to hang the door first, and then replace the parts. Any thoughts?

I think that's just for the weight of the door with hardware.

That makes sense to me, they do get heavy & would probably involve two people. to hang them. My understanding is another benefit would be stabilizing the door while your installing the parts. This would be a big help if the door has been painted first. If you lay the door on a bench or floor it may move/slide around while you're installing parts that at times seem like they can't possibly fit.

I've got my doors laying on cushioned sawhorses at the moment but have pondered whether to hang them on the cab for the installation of all the parts. I think I'll still install the clips for the beltline fuzzies before hanging the doors. Maybe install some of the other parts too.
Got some work ahead on my vent windows before I get to trying the different installment methods. But got some work days to fit in so might be a while before I get back to it.

I believe you are supposed to crimp the clips onto the felts first, then snap into the door. Of course it's too much to ask the vendors to crimp them on where they belong. So I made a drawing of the measurements for the outside piece (since the clips don't work worth a damn, I've had it on and off several times). Should get you pretty close.

The clips have to be crimped on to the fuzzies first ? Damn. That means a whole lot of measuring is ahead for me. I was wondering about snapping the crimps into place first so that the fuzzies could be adjusted height wise as well as centering them.
Then trying to reach up and crimping them into place if I can while someone holds the fuzzies in place.
It sure would have been nice to have them already installed.

If you can figure out how to crimp them in place, let me know!
