Hello and some assistance PLEASE
Good Morning
First off I'm new to this Forum and would like to say Hello to everyone. I have received so much useful information on my SVT Focus on Focus forums that I decided I would gain the same benefit from a Forum that deals specifically with my Expedition.
I have a 1999 Expedition XLT with 68K on it. I have a few items I needs some help with.
1) I searched door trim a few times and didn't find what I needed. The chrome strips on my doors are pitted and are unsightly. I would like to replace them and was unable to locate any at the local junk yards. Any information on where to find the BLACK strips would be helpful. I don't want to repalce them with chrome. The Dealer has them but they require painting.
2) Does anyone else have windshield wipers that go on by themselves from time to time?
3) I read a post about an upgraded stabalizer bar to help with sloppy steering. What is the cost and who sells them. Is it worth it?
4) Has anyone replaced their armrests on the front seats? Mine are cracked and I was wondering if this is easy or involved. I'm assuming that I can order them seprate from the seat from Ford.

Hello Tampa EXP and welcome to the forum. I have one word for you, E-Bay. It's really easy and you can find these items there. Actually more than one word... For the wipers, you may have a multi-function switch going bad, you can also find them on E-bay, they pop up once in a while and you can sva a lot of $$$!

It's not a bar, but a steering stabilizer shock. They cost around $50 and are well worth the price...in my opinion.
