FUEL Question
Have 88BII. When coming home the other day was doing bout 60 when engine started cuttin' out and bogging down. Patted gas pedal numerous times and it accelerated and finally took off but while it was doing that i could smell Raw Gas. Did that long ago but it bogged down and died and wouldn't crank...Bad Gas. Changed Fuel Filter and it cranked. Didn't smell Raw Gas though. QUESTION: What are symptoms of a bad Fuel Pump Pressure Regulator? Bout the only thing i haven't changed out these past 7 years since i've had it.

It could make your engine run rough or not at all. Pull off the vacume line that connects to the regulator and check for fuel in the line. The presence of fuel in that vacume line indicates a failure in the regulator
