Fuel Pressure Question
Hopefully a quick question.
I put a scraeder valve on the fuel bowl test port.
Today, I purchased a fuel injection pressure guage from HF and got the following results on the guage:

I put a scraeder valve on the fuel bowl test port.
Today, I purchased a fuel injection pressure guage from HF and got the following results on the guage:
- With the key in the off position, I get no pressure reading.
- With the key in the on position with the engine off, I get
- 56 lbs of pressure for the first 20 seconds (presumably while the pump is filling the fuel bowl); and
- 0 lbs of pressure thereafter (presumably after the pump shuts off).
- WIth the key in the on position with the engine running, I get 56 lbs of pressure.
