Glow plug question

Could glow plugs that are near the end of their life cause overheating of the UVCH where it connects to the Valve cover gasket? just wondering if it could cause the burning of the pins that join the two harnesses together.

It's possible, but unlikely. A glow plug could only damage the connector by drawing excessive current, which means that it's resistance would have to decrease (short circuit). Most tend to increase resistance (open circuit) when they fail, in which case it would draw no current.

Burnt pins are the result of a loose connector, otherwise known as "50-cent-mod free".
