iTSX for 6.0

Just got the iTSX from SCT for my 05 Excursion 6.0 PSD. I originally wanted to use my Android phone to control it but after some issues and calling SCT they said that they are working on the Android app and that I needed to use Apple products for now. I switched to an iPod and it works good.

As I'm not looking for a race truck and want dependability and longevity, my questions to the other users would be:
1. What settings are you using (Converter Locked, Engine Braking, Lock 1-2-3, etc...) and why are you using those settings?

2. Are there any setting to turn off the EGR (have stock EGR system, but will be deleting it next year)

3. What tune are you running (non-studded, Air Raid intake and MBRP 4" cat delete ehaust) and why?

4. Basically anything else you can tell me (and other users) about this device.

Also, I found that when I turn on the Gauges in the iTSX it causes my Water-in-Fuel light to come on. I just sent SCT an email about it.... Turn the Gauges feature off and the light on the dash goes off.

Thanks in advance...

I have the SCT 3015 and I just use the canned tunes because they are supposed to be head gasket friendly ( I don't have studs just OEM bolts.
The factory air cleaner is the best one for our trucks and by running aftermarket air cleaners is just asking for trouble with your turbo ie: dusting the compressor side of the turbo.
There is a setting to turn off the EGR.
The only other user adjustable setting I use is the firmer transmission shift as I like a more positive shift feel and I think it's better for the tranny.

I also have the 3015 and use the "Street" tune as my DD. Get fantastic mileage out of that tune. I like the "Performance" tune as well.

Haven't tried the "Tow Tune"

Also do EGR off and use stock shifting with the Street tune.

No other adjustments.

Update on iTSX, Works like a charm...

After a trip to SCT (Sanford, FL) I found many of the answers that I was looking for.

What settings are you using (Converter Locked, Engine Braking, Lock 1-2-3, etc...) and why are you using those settings?
The only transmission setting changes I made are to select Firmer Shift.

Are there any setting to turn off the EGR (have stock EGR system, but will be deleting it next year)
They just upgraded the app/device (the release should be around 021913) and it will now allow you to turn off the EGR.

What tune are you running (non-studded, Air Raid intake and MBRP 4" cat delete ehaust) and why?
I use either the Street Tune or the lower Tow tune. Since I have a non-studded engine, I don't want to over stress the heads.

Basically anything else you can tell me (and other users) about this device.
The Android is now working again, so that is not a problem.

Also, I found that when I turn on the Gauges in the iTSX it causes my Water-in-Fuel light to come on.
This was also fixed with the latest upgrade.

I really want to thank Patrick at SCT for going way above on helping me with my questions.
