We went with a 31' palomino bunkhouse when we decided to go from tent to RV. The rear slide out kids room has a ton of room for the kids.
I love the outside kitchen and grill.
Andrew, we got an old 2000 Thor 33TB tow hauler. The back 20' is one big "family" room. We love it. We have 2 kids and the whole family enjoys the space when the weather is bad, in the AM or before bed time.
Enjoy your new trailer
Hopefully you can find some camp grounds with paved access
I would hate to see those wheels get dirty
That's funny. I was thinking the same thing when I started reading this thread.
Happy for ya Andrew. Choosing the right RV can be difficult. Sounds like you've done your homework and saught advice from experienced folks. Good job. Enjoy your new RV, whatever model you get.
That cougar is really nice. I hope it works out for ya.
We are a bunkhouse family though. My kids are 5 and 10, they have a bedroom and a 1/2 bath up in their room with 4 bunks. My son (10) has started to invite a friend to go with us on occasion so it's nice to have plenty of room for that.
I'm excited for you, it's been 3 months since we have used our camper and we are starting to get the itch already. We just love the travel and time spent together. I've got a week reserved at fort wilderness for spring break, really gettin amped up for that trip!
My wife and I just love taking the kids on trips with our camper. It's so much fun, extremely economical, and there is nothing we would rather do for vacation time together. The only other activity we like is to go on a cruise about once every 3 years.
My best deal: we like to spend the month of July at Daytona beach. The port orange KOA is about $15 bucks a night and its 3 miles from the beach. I take my kids to a day camp at the museum/planetarium, surf camp, and we just basically live there for as long as we can manage. It's just great.
Went to the Keystone dealer today and took a look around. Liked what we saw and decided to talk numbers with them. They offered me a pretty good deal, pending finance of course. I should have some finance options on Mon or Tues and make a final decision from there.
It looks like I'll be a RV owner pretty soon.
I know, I know, Pics or it didn't happen. It will have to be ordered so it's going to be a bit before I have pics.

Make sure the roads are dry when you pick up your new toy, the last thing you want to do it give the under side of that puppy a salt spray bath the first day you own it.
....but you prolly already thought about that......sorry.
