Airbag light 49

I have a 2003 ford explorer with airbag light 49. Does anyone know any common fixes for this light

A lamp fault code (LFC) of 49 could indicate 1 of 3 different diagnostic codes, all of which relate to the seat track position sensor circuit.

I'd start by carefully inspecting the wiring under the seat for any loose connections or damaged wires.

If you don't have any obvious wiring issues, the next logical step would be to get the airbag system codes read to determine which of the three possible issues your car is reporting. Possibilities are shorted to power, shorted to ground, or open.
