Although it is, to borrow a phrase my English teacher would scream about were she still alive, non-cuttable-and-pastable, there might be a way to copy that text. Or, even easier, why can't we put a page or three of the catalog in a stickie? That's 'cause I fully agree w/you - I don't want to retype what's already been typed and sure don't want to spend my days finding gas tanks, or sending units, or valves in that catalog.
I have various posts on here with pages from that catalog posted verbatim (for example, all the axle codes) and was hoping the search engine would rather easily be able to locate them for me when asked to.
Ha!!!! The FTE search engine is, um, difficult to deal with, should probably play around with Tags to see how useful they might be.
I agree that some of the common stuff would be easier to find if we had it in the sticky somewhere, I've just been too lazy to go through the work.
I'm inclined to work on the truck so's it'll be ready for its 3K trek. And, unless I am mistaken about how long I'll be laid up due to the upcoming knee surgery, I'll probably use that time time to figure out where each bit of furniture goes in the bed, via CAD, so won't have the time then.
Having said that, if we knew what we really wanted then I could put the pic's into a post and you could sticky them. However, the jpg's I have from processing the pdf aren't all that large on a page, so might not be what we want. I could see if my new-to-me Super PDF to Image s/w would do a better/bigger job and reprocess the whole lot if need be.
