NEED HELP Replacing Differential Bearings?
The differential is howling like crazy on my 1993 E150 5.0 van, it has over 200k miles on it so I'm assuming the bearings need to be replaced! Before I tackle this major project is there any special tools I need or a special procedure I should use?

Torque wrench up to 250+ ft/lbs, dial indicator.

You will probably have noticeable wear in the gears and will have a howler if you keep the old gearset.

Have you ever set up a diff before?

My main concern is tearing it down and then realizing I need a special tool, I've got the torque wrench but I think I'm lacking a socket.
