Standard cab and crew cab seats from 87-96 F150-F350 (97 F250/350) are direct drop in (except the 40/20/40 will need center seat bolts cut and tapped in). Extended cab trucks have their own seat/floor pan mounting. 1980-1987 will also fit but with a few minor changes with the same stipulations as above. With the right donor parts, most of the seats can be cut and grafted from one floor pan style to another fairly easily.
Do a quick search of the site and you'll find people that have swapped in anything from new SuperDuty seats to Mazda captains; anything is possible with a tape measure and some modifications.
