Does any one know if a 99 f-450 60/40 split bench seat with center console fold-down will work in my 70 f-250 regular cab. The stock seat from 1970 sucks all the way around in great shape those things have no cushion after about the 2nd hour on a long road trip your gonna need a butt transplant
they had this in the dent side forum a guy took some 3/4 *11/2 tubing and mounted it to the seats and then drilled it to fit the floor I don't rememer what he did for tracks. He had pictures for it to.A 96 and older you bolt your tracks to the newer seat and its a bolt in.

I AGREE man. that is awesome that a 96 seat will fit in my 69.
Roger, Anything after 79 is going to have to be modded to fit.
Frankly I don't know what changed at 96-97, all I know is we say up to 96. I would suggest that you close the doors with the window down and measure from door to door and go from there.
Post back what you find, and be prepared to make below the seat changes for fit.
I actually have bigger fish to fry right now, I'm still bending pushrods and i don't know why.Everything from the cam up is brand new, bought a set of the shorter rods and bent them too Just on cylinders 3&4 couple exhaust one intake had heads rechecked machine shop said they were fine. I still am thinking there is something wrong with those valves[the stem seals or something, the valves are new] Just wanted to see if anyone had done the seat swap thing cuz that 99 seat was so comfy if anyone has an idea about those rods please help i'm running out of hair and money. An the money is going faster than the hair THANKS
I put in a new oil pump, new cam with matched timing chain and gears, had the heads completly redone with oversized valve stems, hardened seats, all new lifters stock configuration, new pushrods, new performer intake, carter 4 barrel, new distributor, new coil, new plugs. I first had a problem with passenger side rocker arm assembly but replaced with salvage yard one that works great. Replaced all parts with as big as i could go but retain stock lifters and pushrods kept my points distributor as well she really wants to run butrods keep bending seriously questioning the head if they milled to much off or due to lack of oil pressure during heavy long tow possibly melting valves stem seals driver side is excellent an on passenger side #3 & #4 are the problem children
