I know I've seen a lot of info on axle swaps, but don't really recall an actual list of any sort. Can someone tell me what years will swap directly into a 78 f250 4x4 without any issues whatsoever, and what years need something done (and what that might be).
I need a set of 3/4 ton axles for my Scab, but don't really want to buy a full 78 f250 just to canabalize it for the axles. Figured I'd have better options if I know what I'm looking for in other years.
I'm looking for just a rolling chassis, but they aren't too common around here.
I know a 10.25 sterling will bolt right in. Not sure what year they came out but they went up too 98. I measured my spring perches on my 99 super duty and that would fit also. Im in the process now of putting a 10.25 sterling in my 78 F-250.
