Do I have TPMS - Or not ?
Do I have TPMS - Or not ?
Well At least I don't remember seeing it on the Buy sheet (I bought off the lot). Well I received a Tire Pressure low warning and sure enough one of my tires was down to 60.
BUT
It didn't tell me which one and I cannot find anywhere to set the High/Low.
SO
Do I have TPMS or not ???

yes you do. dealer can set the threshold. There is a section in your owners manual about resetting it after tire rotation.
Seems ford did this one on the cheap. the computer knows which tire is low, since you have to train it for tire rotation. Could have easily put a display in the productivity center with PSI readings on all 4 corners.
UPDATE: In your case, probably one of the rear tires is the low one. If my memory recalls correctly, rears are 80, fronts are 65. TPMS seems to get triggered around -15psi or there abouts. I had my dealer reprogram all wheels to 60psi.

Yes you have TPMS. I check my tire pressure once a week and always before a long drive. I assume due to a few cold nights in the high 20's the pressure dropped. I was in the low 60's all around. Guess I never went below 60 because I never got a message. At 23000 I still have the stock Michelin 20's and I keep them about 70.
I don't know why but lots of people don't check their tire pressure. Even my father (who taught me to check) no longer bothers with it. His leased Mazda tells him individual tire pressure so he completely relies on his TPMS system which I disagree with. Anyway our trucks are lacking quality TPMS technology. I suggest that you pick up a quality tire pressure gauge so you can do it yourself. Note that many of the cheap ones stop at 60 psi so get one that goes up to 100 or more and keep it in your driver's side door.
