Tire pressure ??
Chech this out, the tire pressure (located on the tire itself) on my 04 Lariat screw 4x4 says 50 psi cold. The dealer says that the tire recommended by ford on the drivers side door sticker. Between the front and rear door says 40 psi. I have the LT series tire not the "P" series on Lariat 18" wheels. I am leaning towards the tire manufactures pressure but when I put 48 psi in the tires it rides like a bulldozer!!!!!!!!! Has anyone else experimented with the tire pressures??

I'm on the standard BF Goodrich 275/65 18's on my Lariat SuperCab. The proper pressure is on the inside of the fuel door and on the inside of the driver's door. 35 lbs front and back for me. Never put the max pressure in a tire, it's as the other guy said above, it's the MAX pressure allowed before you blow 'em to pieces...lol, not what you 'should' have in it for normal use. If they look a little underinflated and you're sure you have the right (cold tire) pressure in them, it's ok...radials look like they run a little low compared to the old (long time ago) bias ply tires.

tire pressure... don't even get me started on tire pressure. It has become an obsession of mine trying to adjust this road vibration "out" of my truck. Everyday and night and day and night I'm raising and lowering and raising and on and on.
Right now I'm at 44 front and 36 rear. I know the front is higher than normal, but I was starting to get some side wear at 36 front. This has been my best combination so far.
