365 days or so to get things done.

What have you got in store for 2013?

I hope to get Bronco project going again and

Start building a canoe.

I should be getting my settlement in June, and plan on painting my Bronco blue, installing Performer cam and kit, and truck performer intake, as well as headers and a complete 3 inch exhaust with Magnaflow cat, and muffler. Tru trac for the rear end, 2 new tires, and matching rims, and a major tune up of the engine. Also, since it needs front brake pads, I'll be trying those EBC pads. However, that will most likely happen soon, as it is starting to squeal. Also plan on getting the original leather seats redone. Adding real gauges, and getting that Warn winch with the synthetic rope instead of a cable. My plans are to hide it behind the front license plate, but I don't know if that will be possible. I may or may not get a front brush/push guard for it, I have not made up my mind on that yet.

Bronco - finally going to replace carpet with vinyl flooring from JBG.
Install sub woofer
Fabricate new gas can mount on tire carrier
Possibly fabricate a steel rack inside cargo area

97 Explorer - change rear shackles
Install junk yard spare tire and cable lift

99 Explorer - fix P0171 and P0174 infamous 4.0 intake leak

I have to finish up a home renovation job, the I plan

To get back to building canoe paddles then start building a Hawaiian

Outrigger canoe, possibly using the project as a mentoring tool

For young adults and teens.

I am looking forward to 2013 and it's possibilities.

You may have to provide some pictures of the project, those canoes are cool.

For me, my list is too long so I can mentioned some key parts.

78 Bronco "TGM": Fix this coolant issue I am chasing now, fix my rear drum brakes so they work like real brakes should, Find out why my new front brakes are squealing really bad, Find the original style carpeting for the floor in my truck, Get at least the front seat refurbished with matching skin and new foam, a bunch of engine work including a possible full rebuild, other drivetrain work, paint if the truck is ready, and finally.... A job so all of this can be made possible. If there is time I wouldn't mind finding myself a girlfriend but those cost money too so i have to pick the right one .

I have a ton of things I want to do but Those won't get done till the things I need to do are out of the way.

EDIT: Also, khadma, if you need help installing your subs, let me know. I might be of some use there. I don't know too much but installing subs and an amp is pretty easy.

Girlfriend? why would you want a girlfriend? They cost more than a truck! And besides, TGM might get jealous!

Forgot to mention a gas rack addition to my tire carrier. Thanks khadma for reminding me. I also want to find an inside tire carrier, so I can carry two spares instead of one, and not have to resort to putting it on the roof.

TGM gets jealous when I do anything... Besides i've never truly had one and you gotta try everything once right? It might be fun.

Girls smell nice, way nicer than gear oil and welding fumes.

I haven't decided on using the new type of steel gas can with the filler nozzle

Or a plastic can. I have on old style Blitz can now, I want to get

One that is more user friendly.

Jim, are adding a gas can to a stock outside carrier?

I am sure you can find a stock inside carrier just about anywhere too.

I'll add more info to my old build thread.

Yes, I want to fabricate a gas can mount that will be on the outside tire carrier. However, I also want to have an inside tire carrier so I can have two spares. I don't want a gas can inside. Not full of fuel anyway.

This is my old can carrier I did a long time ago before I got a welder,

I plan to make a simpler one, probably just a shelf type of set up.

Looks good. I could live with something like that. Once this new job takes off, I'll sign up for a basic welding course, and learn how to weld so I can make mine.

Looks like everyone has a good start.

My plans are:

-Finish leveling off my lift (since I did a SAS) on the rear and put the zero rate in to move my axle back some.

-Find some new rims, possibly 16s since I can't find a tire size of 36s in 15s.

-Find some 36s so I can downgrade from 38s.

-Remove the vinyl flooring I bought for up front and get a new vinyl floor mat possibly from JBG.

-Get new CD player

-Fix a tire carrier to carry my Hi-Lift jack and maybe a gas tank!

-Do some tinkering on my 300 I6 to get some more power and some better MPGs

-Regear my axles.

-Get a winch bumper and winch.

-Get a heavy duty rear bumper.

-Get a locker for the rear axle.

-Get Bronco aligned Monday.

-Maybe repaint Bronco.

-Get new headlight covers and turn covers and rear turn signals.

-INSTALL MY ROCK LIGHTS FROM HORSEPOWERJUICE!
