Hi, new here & owner of a new (to me) 02' e350. Go me.
My suspension just got squeaky recently & I bear it when at low speeds + over speed bumps. I crawled under & noticed im missing 2 plastic or rubber or polyurethane FLAT bushing type things that have these nipple thinfs that come thru the hole in the leaf spring below it. These bushings are in between each leaf spring on my right side where as the left side has 1 remaining. What are these bushing pieces called? I looked up leaf spring bushings on the web & keep getting pics of more cylindrical bushings maybe for bolts & not what Im looking for.
You might try contacting or visiting a local heavy truck spring/frame shop in your area. If IDI John is correct someone in the aftermarket will probably have exact replacements for those bushings.
I believe they're called leaf spring "pads" and a quick Google search shows some apps available. Not sure what it'll take to get them for your specific springs--seems to me a leaf spring rebuilding kind of place would have these available on some basis.
Jack up the rear of the truck so both wheels are off the ground BUT the axle and springs Hang down ( you need to jack the frame ) ..then get some wheel grease or other grease with a gun and stuff it in the spaces...
