I've had both the old style mud terrains and the new style mud terrains. Both tires were 1000%better than the bfg rugged trail tires that came stock on my truck. Those rugged trail tires were great for picking up snow and clogging up, but not much else.

My dad actually picked up a set of the mud terrain tires for the back of his 2wd f150 to use as snow tires. and said he had better traction with the pm vs snow tires.

Good information to have, Tom. I've had BFG all terrains in the past, and I wasn't too impressed with them in the snow. My former Excursion came with rugged trails, and you are absolutely correct. They fail at everything except for being black and round.

Good afternoon gang. I just got back from some last minute shopping and it seems people are not as crazy as usual this holiday season. I say this because I am an avid last minute shopper and have seen the sheer stupidity of people and how crazy they get. Maybe I just shopped at the correct time and avoided the idiots, but yeah me.

Have a great Sunday.

Hi Wade! Regular hours this week, with a little twist. Because we need 5am-5pm maintenance coverage 7 days a week, the new guy's schedule is sat/sun 5am-5pm, and mon tues weds 5am-11am. My schedule will be mon tues weds 11am-5pm, and thurs fri 5am-5pm (the new guy has thurs and fri off every week).

It sure is nice to know I have weekend coverage with the new guy. In the past, I've been leery of going anywhere too far away, in case anything went wrong (Like at the dyno day, lol).

Sounds like you lucked out Tom! Sandy and I were at Walmart early saturday morning, and it was pretty decent. Not many people at all.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, stress free Christmas week!

Happy rainy Monday Islanders. Three holiday parties down and four to go. Sure gets expensive this time of year. LOL

Shopped a little Saturday morning. My rule is if I can see the line from outside the store, I just keep on moving. By doing that, I had a very pleasant shopping experience. Sure is funnt watching soccer moms park their 8 passenger SUV's.
