Just ask him Bob. He'll be happy to tell you
Looks like you have your work cut out for you tomorrow.
At least Clint and I aren't in the same state. I have first hand knowledge that I'm The Great here in RI!
Shouldn't be too bad this weekend. Already have the truck on jackstands, fender liners out, and ready to remove y-pipe and headers in the AM. Because I replaced everything recently, I'm hoping to avoid any kind of BS in removing it all again... beer definitely helps!
Well gang as ur alarm clock went off this morning u realized that its Monday again.
I hope ur weekend went well, mine was ok. I had two different guys come over to look at my 78 f250 supercab 4x4 that I have for sale on Craigslist. The first guy seemed impressed with the truck but wanted to take the lift out and lower the truck to stock. After we spend an half hour going over the truck I take home for a drive. He is surprised by the giddy up of the truck but asks "what is the fuel economy". SERIOUSLY. Ur looking at a 351m supercab 8' bed 4x4 on 35's. what do u think it's like. We get back to the house and he says he has one more truck to look at, a 80's something ford and then he will call me.
The second guy wants to trade me a 1972 mustang mach 1. The car is automatic, grabber blue. Correct vin for a mach 1. Car was repainted a number if years ago, but has some rust poking thru in all the common spots. I crawled under the car in the rear to find some heavy rust on the rear spring boxes but I couldn't get a good look unless I pulled out the jack.
I might have the mustang guy come back next weekend and jack it up, but idk if I want another mustang or if I should trade him and try to flip the mustang.

Decisions decisions.
I absolutely HATE dealing with Craigslist ads. I try to be thorough with my ads, and include every bit of information I have on whatever it is I'm selling. When I had my SHO listed, three people came to look at it and said "oh, it's a five speed, I can't drive stick". I stated in the ad it was a manual trans... When I sold the Crown Vic, I stated in the ad, three times, that the car had 250k on it. Four people came to look at it, and said "wow that's high miles'...
Yeah Craigslist can be really difficult, some people want to be the expert and tell u everything about your stuff no matter how wrong they are. I love letting people foam at the mouth so I can make fun of them when they leave.
I thought about putting the truck on eBay , I just can't bring myself to give them the commission they get for the auction.
I hate dealing with Craigslisters..... but one good thing about ebay is that you get people who aren't going to haggle you over the price and millions of potential customers. Just make your price PLUS add in the enough to cover the fees. Don't forget the reserve!!!
Happy Thursday morning gang. The week is rolling right along and as u know the weekend is almost here.
The 78 super cab is still in my driveway, and isn't looking sold anytime soon. I might have to just start looking for a crew cab body and make the supercab into a crew cab short bed truck.
The guy with the mustang still wants to trade, but that just means I will have a tough to sell 1972 mustang mach 1. I really don't want another project, nor starting over trying to sell this mustang.
Good Friday morning RI !!!!! Back to the cool weather again. I wouldnt mind six months of 70*s type temps. Oh well, looks like a good weekend to be a shade tree mechanic (I woulndt know how else to do it)
