27 here, plenty of snow/ice left, McKenzie hwy is still ice covered in most stretches east beyond Walterville, but passable in 2wd if you use common sense.

Good morning everyone. The white stuff and icy roads are still sticking around here in the mid-valley.
Got a few projects to work on over the winter school break. Gotta chase down a fuel leak, and re-locate the rear leaf spring bracket on my front suspension. When I did my 4x4 conversion I must have measured the distance between the brackets wrong and my shackle angle is not what it should be.
I plan on moving the brackets forward, and drilling/bolting it back up, but I'd like to weld them also just for extra assurance. Anyone near Corvallis willing to help me out with some welding?

Evening boys! My day started out crappy, but turned out great! An old friend I haven't seen for two years found out I moved up here and came to look me up. He just retired at 72! He owned a contracting company and wanted me to do some work for him. He saw I haven't finished up the paint booth and said he'd trade the work he wants done for finishing up the booth! Then found out I haven't finished the house sheetrock too......
Now I'm gonna do some more work for him, and he will finish up the house!
I get my paintbooth finished and Melody will be happy with me for getting her house finished!
Win, win for me!

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Slow cold day around here. It did actually make it above freezing to a warm and balmy 34*. Sliding backwards at 30.4 now.

Pays to have a good reputation, that's for sure.

The way I look at it Charlie, is I came into this world naked, and will leave that way. The only "real" thing I really own is my word, and my reputation. Everything else is just "things".........
