Duck pond still frozen. Polk County is short one more coyote. That's about all the excitement here.
We are going under another Winter Weather "advisory" for 24hrs starting at 1600 on Monday. Oh joy!

We haven't had anything over 9* for the last two weeks, and most nights have been below 0 deg. The worst I've ever seen it here in 40 years was 1982. It went to 23 BELOW, and stayed there for 3 WEEKS! At the time I owned a property management company (which I sold...) and we had 59 rentals plus my own RV park. All, including my own home, were frozen up with burst pipes. Took me and my crew over a month to get water to everybody........

It was my own damn fault........ The burner was slowing down from full on and I knew the filter screen was plugging up so I pulled it out and cleaned it off. That made the fire go out so I threw a lit piece of paper in the firing chamber to relight it. Done it before and never had a problem with relighting it. Never done it with the damn thing running wide open before though. Won't do that again! I had just closed the fire door when the damn thing "lit off" with a huge BOOM! Scared the crap out of Harley and he came running. He found me setting on my butt with the door blown off................lol
