94 F250 Shift Indicator

The indicator quit moving some time ago. I was told it needed a new cable. Anyone know where one can be found? I have tried net searches but have not had any luck.

the dealer or a junk yard would be the best sugestion i have

LMC sells the cable with the shifter indicator assembly. It is a bit pricey. Truck Parts and Truck Accessories

Depending on the cost for a new unit you might do well to just pick up an entire cluster out of any 92-96 F-Series or Bronco from a salvage yard. Aerostars or E-Series vans (though I am not sure) of this vintage would also be suitable donors.
