bad vibration......
This old man needs a little help. 96 F150, 351, auto, Extended cab. I inadvertently switched to the front tank before I changed the pump. It shut down, switched it back, got it running, but, when I pushed down on the throttle pedal it started bucking, like someone stopped it, backed off the throttle, the more throttle, more really bad bucking. Drove it around at 15 ta 20 until it cleared up, back to normal except now I have a vibration between 30 & 45? Not bad, but still a vibration. On the throttle, cruise & decel within that range. I've put it in neutral in that range, still there. Ck'ed the drive line, on the short shaft the big rubber carrier by the spline's, I can push it up and down a little. Looks to be worn, but it was good before the screwup!
Replaced all the erg components also.
Runs fine, no loss of power, milage still at 15, just the vibration.
Any help would be appreciated,

Well, the bucking might've put enough stress on a marginal u-joint or carrier bearing to cause a failure. It is kinda strange, but stranger things have happened...
It sure sounds like a driveshaft issue.
