leaf springs- need replacing?

1965 F100- heavily abused by previous owner.

the rear axle had coil springs welded to it at one point (gone now).
the frame is cracked over the rear wheel.

i'm about to pull the bed to fix the cracked frame, and replace the rear end.

how do i tell if the leaf springs are shot? they are not flat, but they don't have much curve to them.

i weigh about 165. if i hop into the bed of the truck, it dips noticeably.
if i hop up and down, the truck dances.

you know, i've been staring at those rusted-out shocks...no idea why it didn't occur to me to just try swapping those out first...

thanks-

first indicator of sagging springs, is the levelness of the vehicle and or how close you are to the bump stops, could compare to similar truck.
