Today during the snow storm while plowing the brakes on my 99 F-350 with 7.3 seem to be haning up. The pedal seems harder than usual, after applying the brakes they dont seem to want to release. I also hear a clicking sound near the brake pedal. All the brakes seemed hot but the front left rotor was almost red hot with smoke. I stopped for a break at that point to let the brakes cool, and it was a little better but still seems like they are "dragging" a little. I am going to replace the LF caliper to see if that is the issue, wondering if it could possilbly be the master cylinder also. Any help would be great, Thanks!

What Howellt39 said. I would check the slide pins to make sure they are not seized up. this can cause the caliper to not move correctly and bind possibly causing one or both pads to drag.
Oh... I know this one... all of the above! I had a slide pin issue (without my knowledge, obviously) and the caliper siezed up the first time I towed my boat downhill to a stop sign (intense braking). Not knowing how the boat would tow, I just thought "Hmmm... not as powerful as I thought" and drove on... dum-dee-dum-dee-dum.
Pulling into the driveway, my very observant wife noticed all the smoke pouring out of the left rear wheel. Uh... I think I have a problem. Removing everything for inspection... I had a damaged rotor, the caliper was cooked, the pads were... well... crystallized, and the parking brake was more rust than brake.
