Few days back i noticed my truck was misfiring with the cheap gas but it seem to run smother the high octane gas 93 so I decided to take it autozone for codes check ( NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON BUT I CAN FEEL IS MISFIRING IS PROBABLY A COIL BECAUSE ONCE OR TWICE HAS DONE THE JERKING AROUND 30-40 MPH SO THAT IS NOT WHAT IM CONCERNED ) back to the codes I got
P1136 AND P0133
now for the p0133 it has to do with a 02 sensor in bank 1 but it also says ( fuel system is running rich or lean-check other codes first ) my truck has now high octane gas....... I was thinking since the truck has a light misfire some gas might be coming down and having the sensor throw a code or is it a bad sensor ?? and if it is the sensor which side is it ???
now for the P1136 I will have to do some research and hear from you guys what you think thank you in advance
133 Code is passenger side front sensor 1-1.
If the sensor is old, I would change it.
The code tells you the senor is being lazy on switching for some reason.
It could be contamination, an air leak in the exhaust, an inlet air leak etc.
The 1136 says contol box fan circuit.
Your right in the window of needing to get all these things fixed in order to clear all the issues you are seeing.
Good luck.
I would get the 133 code first then clear the codes and see what comes back.
The 1136 may not come back.
Don't think it's applicable to your truck unless you have some special build.
Sometimes a combination of certain issues set other codes.
Within the program are some 1000 + codes not all of which apply to every build because the same program family is used for many different car and truck applications but with different applications made active and many not active.
For instance a F350 or 450 with a 5.4 used in a Line truck needs a remote high idle function to operate the hydraulic boom that a pick up doesn't need.
How that is acomplished is a switch signals the program to use a different idle speed table value and opens the IAC to get the motor speed to match it..
Good luck.
Ok I said will be back so here I am the code for the oxygen sensor and the circuit box malfunction are gone ( O2 sensors replaced )
As for the misfire I thought it was a coil or a plug but it is not... coils has been replaced and plugs has been replaced ( motorcraft ) and tried unpluging each coil but the misfire is so light that when I unplug a coil the shaking is twice as a much so maybe an injector the truck has 125xxx miles maybe valve ?????? or a sensor somewhere ????? EGR valve all vaccum hoses checks out even the pcv valve and 90 degree angle that connects to the back of the intake is famous for causing misfire like effects I dont have a friend to go to that has a computer that reads mode 6 ..... I went to autozone and no codes are pending
this misfire is on whenever engine is cold or hot 93 or 87 octane gas whenever I go over 1500 - 1800 rpms the misfire is gone it doesn't matter the speed is only whenever the rpms are in that range
Where could this water be coming from ?? I live in South Florida climax is very hot down here also when bought the truck I took the tank down and cleaned really good and changed the gas filter
Yes there are many ways for water to get into the fuel. Burn the tank as dry as you dare and refill. I am not familiar with the additive you mentioned. I know that B12 does a great job for emulsifying the water and burning it.
