2 rough idle problems

2 rough idle problems

Hey there, I've been searching forums and haven't really been able to find anything that relates. I have a 04 F250 4x4 with the 6.0L. Problem one - Once in a while after driving on the highway when I come to a stop my truck will idle rough but once I give her a shot of fuel she usually smooths out. Problem two - Once yesterday and twice today after I let off the fuel for a turn or what not and step on the fuel again the rpms will go up and down until I let off the fuel pedal and try again. It almost sounds like its loping. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you have any questions that will help you understand my problems better please let me know. The truck is all stock other then a Superchip Cortex programmer. Thanks.

Sounds like injectors to me. Have you scanned it for codes?

The truck only has 215,000 kms on it but I guess it could still be injectors. No I have not checked for codes as no lights have come on.

does it do it with out the chip? but imo tim is more then likly right

The first problem I described happens with or without the chip. As far as the second problem I haven't put the truck back to stock but I've had the chip for over a year.
