hey guys i just have a question about my 95 with injectors, inter cooler chip and intake and 1.00 turbo housing. when i let it idle the idle goes up and down but its not like a regular weird idle lol if you get what i mean it will go higher and come back down over and over but it doesnt always idle higher the same. sometimes the top rpm will be more sometimes not so far above normal. also i get pretty bad gas mileage like 11 or 12 on a good day. but my truck runs perfect besides that and is very strong. also the idle problem doesnt change no matter what setting i have my ts chip on. i have 180 cc injectors and so could that just be it? sorry for so much info but any ideas would be great
high pressure cross over line, connects the 2 heads together to significanly reduce pressure spikes. deffinetly helps with idle, i need to get one for this truck... my red truck idled real clean after
I had the HPX and I couldn't get it to stop leaking so I got rid of it. I'd check the fuel screen also, try another IDM if you have another lying around, I have a spare that I keep around
thanks guys. where do i find a xover line or how do i make one and i put my stock idm back in instead of my 140 but that didnt do anything so i will check the screen in the morning i was just hoping it wasnt my injectors or a bad cylinder or something but i guess it should be simple
It's not a good Idea to make your own HPX line do to the high pressure involved if I recall correctly. It's best to bite the bullet and buy the line. They come both flex and ridged, your choice. I preferred the flex.
