It's great for being stealthy when you need to drive someplace quiet and slow... like a campground at night. However... the emissions stink so bad that you can't stop and have it on long enough to order coffee or McLardalds at the window. It works OK for picking up your order or at the toll booth, though... if there's no line.
Not a whole lot. My stock setting is only a tad louder than my quiet tune. Since my tuner gives you 6 tunes for the price of one, its no problem, but I wouldnt pay extra for it.
It's not car quiet, but it's very noticable on my rig. It's just for going slow, you wouldn't drive on the road with it. For the love of everything precious - don't start it in quiet tune, and don't use it until the truck is warmed up. I accidentally started "Stinky" cold in quiet tune once and that was one convulsing truck. "Your mileage may vary".
On mine it is a tad more quiet than stock, but it is not a great reduction since I've already got the Hutch and FRx on split shots. I never use it. Would make more sense with singles I 'spose.
But mine is idle only, there is no pedal response at all. Like hi idle it is not for driving, just idling at a drive thru. My tunes are 2 years old, so maybe it changed?

I ditched my "drive thru" tune when Jody live tuned my truck. He worked on it for awhile, trying to get it to quiet down enough to make it worthwhile. After doing everything he could, he just ditched it and used the spot for something more useful (countermeasures!)... I have 160cc singles, FRx and HPx no hutch mod done yet.
If I need to have my motor quiet to talk to someone, I just shut it off... or leave it running and use it as an excuse to not talk if you don't want to.
So knowing what you all know, would you buy the tune again? Thanks.
That depends on your situation. I drive through a toll booth or pay for a ferry crossing to visit my son... it's good for that. If you have a frequent scenario where you just need it for a few seconds, or you need to drive slow and quiet (like in a campground), it's handy to have.
