Just wanted to introduce myself.
I recently purchased a 77 4x4 F250 and found this site a few weeks ago. She needed a bit of attention , mainly leaks and a complete brake system. Has the 400 , C6 , and 205 transfer case. Only needed one u joint , fluid changes on differentials and the case , pinion seals and transfer case seals.
She runs like a top.
Lots of good information here , which is greatly appreciated.

bought some cool catseye vintage looking clearance lights
Paint is in her future , but right now I am just going to work on basic problems it has , and there are a lot.
Where did you find those lights? Ive been toying with the idea of adding them but cant decide if i wana drill a hole in the roof which could equal a rust point or leaky spot.

They have a very nice old school look. Made well. They have a galvanized base which makes the ground and inner /outer gaskets. Small dab of silicone should prevent rust and corrosion.
