Married or divorced?

I searched the stickies but didn't see anything - can you guys tell me if this is a married or divorced type setup? Thanks

Married. Divorced would have a little stubby driveshaft between the transmission and the transfer case. The one above is bolted directly with that cast piece inbetween.

Also, if the transfer case was divorced, it would be living in a crappy apartment, with all of its gears and most of its income having been given to the transmission.

Lol, thanks. That's what I thought based on descriptions, but I didn't have any visual proof until I was able to remove the cab yesterday.

Divorced only came in certain 70's trucks, don't know about earlier than that. All 80-up had married from the factory.

Divorced Transfer Case: 1959/65 F100 4WD; 1959/76 F250 4WD; 1977 F250 4WD before serial number Y20,001 (High Boy).
