A substantial bracket welded to a 3 inch piece of pipe cut in half ( or not ) with 2 hose clamps if you use the half pipe ...

Bill you always seem to find a way to DIY on stuff. Pretty cool skill you have. On another note, where did you get the rubber dip?

Lowes, it's where the spray paint is. It's called Plasti-Dip.

Thats a good idea too. Like have the half pieces of pipe next to each other with some flat steel under it with two inchs sticking out with a hole in it to mount it.

Kinda got busy and didn't finish the brackets I started, and after thinking about them, I decided my original idea was dumb any way, so I made this one today. It is made of 3/16" x 1", painted silver and I used real thick walled adhesive lined heat shrink tubing on the part the hose goes through.

We get it through Fastenal at work....0.80" x 48" Black Heavy Wall Heat Shrink | Fastenal

The bracket is very nice! But does the truck run.Im king of parts looking very promising but the project as a whole never getting"done"...I was being silly...
