Hello all, I have a small problem with my 6.0. I parked it and it was fine, a few weeks later I start it up and I have no boost at all. I have an error code of p0069. I swapped out the MAP sensor but that didn't help. I can hear the turbo spooling up but absolutely no boost at all. Any help is appreciated. Thanks GW
Did you check the hose and fitting on the intake that connect the MAP to the intake to make sure it isn't plugged? Also check the EBP sensor tube and fitting where it enters the exhaust manifold on the drivers side and make sure it isn't plugged? For the EBP tube I just removed the sensor and pushed a piece of weed whacker line through it, just make sure the engine has cooled down before you do this so you don't melt the weed whacker line. What year is your truck and do you have any gauges, like scan gauge II or the like?
The code indicates an incorrect correlation between the MAP sensor and Baro sensor. Mustang got you started down the right path about checking the MAP and EBP sensor tubes, but you also need to check that the MAP, EBP, and Baro sensors are reading +/- .5 psi of each other at KOEO (key on engine off) to see if you have a biased sensor.
Thanks for the advice guys. I did go back and check the tubes and hoses and all were clear. I talked to my local Ford garage and they thought it might be a blown intercooler but after a few checks it looks to be ok. I can hold the truck in gear and bring the rpm's up and can hear the boost blowing back into the air box when I let off of the gas. I guess now I need to check the barro sensor and the EBP?
I stopped by the dealership this morning and borrowed a EBP sensor off of a dead 6.0 heading back as a core. I removed my EBP and shot some air down the tube and it was good and clear. The borrowed sensor didn't help any. The truck still has 0 boost but when you put the truck in gear, put a load on the engine and back off the gas you can hear it blow back into the air box. Any other suggestions?

Bud you Must do as this Post says^^^^^^^^
you need a Gauge to Compare BARO--MAP--EBP at KOEO
Also check at Low Idel and High Idel(2500RPM) in Park or Nuetral
